Strategic Account Executive

Summary: 

Stony Point is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join our sales team. In this position, you will be responsible for driving new sales into targeted, strategic accounts, some of which will have no existing relationship with Stony Point. You will sell Salesforce technical training, staffing and placement services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Will be assigned a territory of ~50 accounts to sell into, including Global Strategic Salesforce Partners and Fortune 500 Salesforce customers, fewer than half of which are past/existing Stony Point customers
  • Find the best people to contact at each account and successfully schedule sales meetings with them
  • Run meetings with prospects and keep the sales process progressing toward close, with the support of subject matter experts and Stony Point executives who will attend the sales meetings to help scope and help close deals
  • Deepen relationships, develop new relationships higher up the org chart, and expand footprint in existing accounts¬†
  • Meet one-on-one with the VP, Sales, daily the first 90 days, and then once per week ongoing, for support and guidance
  • Be accountable for sales activities on a pipeline review with full Sales team every week
  • Maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, hard working environment where change is likely

Required Skills:

  • Experience building successful sales relationships with enterprise organizations
  • Ability to reach decision makers and influencers at target accounts
  • Excellent written communication skills, including proper grammar and punctuation
  • Personable with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, simultaneous sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize software applications effectively

Desired Skills:

  • Experience selling training, consulting, professional services, or staffing/recruiting
  • Experience using Salesforce.com
  • Experience using Gmail and Google Apps
  • Bachelor's degree

Location:

  • Work from anywhere
  • Occasional travel may be required

Compensation:

  • OTE $170,000 per year
