Position Overview

Commerce Cloud Consultant

Summary

This role is for an individual who can manage the entire support for our client's Commerce Cloud. You will partner with internal and external development resources for ongoing development on the Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform. The role will provide effective ongoing enhancements and support of integrations, effectively identifying and resolving issues in a timely fashion as they relate to the SFCC platform and its integrations with other applications.

This is a 12 month contract with Stony Point's client.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage technical support for client's Commerce Cloud platform
  • Provide enhancements to the platform and address current issues
  • Lead a support team, including offshore resources, to complete and resolve tickets

Education and Required Experience

  • 7+ years in Ecommerce area and 4+ years in Demandware/SFCC area
  • 2+ years of Support experience, exposure to ITIL (preferably ITIL 4 certification)
  • 1+ years’ of experience in website analytics tools/services like Google Analytics (GA)
  • Experience in analyzing alerts from any of the monitoring tools (New Relic preferred)
  • View on common 4xx and 5xx errors and ability to setup proactive measures, quick triaging
  • Experience in SFCC Error log analysis
  • Understanding website domain hosting platforms Akamai and its tools & applications
  • Experience in developing/supporting ecommerce websites with shopping cart and payment processing functionalities
  • Deep working experience with
    • Commerce Cloud Storefront configuration
    • Front end integrations 
    • Shopflow integrations 
    • Loyalty and Post purchase integrations 
    • Transaction integrations 
    • Legacy merchandising tools 
    • Front end customizations
    • Back end customizations 
    • Business Manager complex configurations
  • Ability to lead support team, manage tickets response/resolution, work in onsite/offshore model
  • Experience in validation of deployments from support standpoint
  • Drive P1/P2 investigation and resolution
  • Experience in using JIRA and confluence tools, and appreciation of Agile methodology
